James W. Goodacre II entered the Insurance Business in 1969 in Santa Clara, California. In 1975 moved his business and family to Carmel, California.

Industry Involvement

James is very active in the insurance industry associations. He has enthusiastically given his time, talent and resources to the local, state, and national levels to the two leading life and health insurance professional associations. National Association of Health Underwrites (NAHU) and National Association of Life Underwrites (NAIFA). Here are some of the officers James has served in and reorganization he has received from his peers:

  • Past President of Monterey Bay Association of Health Underwriters 2006-07
  • Vice President of the California Chapter of the National Association of Insurance and Financial Advisor 2001-03.
  • Regional Trustee of the California Chapter of the National Association of Life Underwriters Political Action Committee 1990-92.
  • Past President of Monterey Chapter of the National Association of Life Underwriters 1989-90.
  • Agent of the Year 1984 for the Monterey Chapter of the National Association of Life Underwriters.
