California Dental Coverage  –

• Dental Blue PPO Plans
  Choose from Dental Blue Basic and Dental Blue Enhanced. Both Dental Blue PPO plans offer access to negotiated rates on covered services, including those received during waiting periods after the member has reached their policy’s annual maximum or if frequency limitations have been exceeded for a covered service. The Dental Blue Enhanced plan includes coverage for orthodontics for children.
• Dental SelectHMO Plan Anthem Blue Cross's Dental SelectHMO plan offers no copay for diagnostic and preventive care such as cleanings, exams and X-rays* with no waiting period, coverage for most fillings with no copay after a six-month waiting period, no annual maximums and coverage for orthodontics and other services available for fixed copays.
• International Emergency Dental Program All Anthem Blue Cross and Anthem Blue Cross Life and Health Insurance Company dental members have access to emergency dental care while traveling or working abroad through the International Emergency Dental Program administered by DeCare Dental. This benefit is automatically included at no additional cost for all groups with dental coverage.

California Medicare Supplement Plans

• Anthem ClaimFree™ Standard Plan A – Basic Medicare coverage; does not cover Medicare Plan A or deductible for Plan B.

• Blue Cross Advantage Care™ – Includes Senior Class Plan F coverages and Home Health rider; nursing care rider; additional benefits for home and nursing facility care.

California Medicare Advantage Plans

• Blue Cross Freedom Blue PPO I and II – As of 2009, there are two different deductible levels, depending on the plan. Includes in and out-of-network coverage. In-network doctor and specialist visits were only $10 in 2010.
• Blue Cross Senior Secure HMO – Low premiums; low co-payments; vision, dental, podiatry coverage; available in only some CA counties.
• Blue Cross SmartValue – Private Fee For Service Plan: low co-payments; no deductibles; only some counties.
